Abstract

The present work concerns the preparation of a business plan which analyzes the operation of a cooperative grape production unit entitled "SYMBOL" based on the local grape production of the prefecture of Kavala and the sale of the produced final product. The comparative advantage of the cooperative and the element that makes it different lies, both in the product itself which comes from its excellent quality and its natural cultivation, as well as in the purely export orientation that accompanies it. The cooperative invests in the grape production unit and has extensive experience in the field of exports, which helps it to enter new markets that are "thirsty" for quality Mediterranean products. The first part of our work includes the literature review. We will list the chapters of our work as well as the sources behind them. Our methodology concerns the analysis of official studies and reports by official bodies such as Piraeus Bank, and FAOSTAT as well as sectoral studies etc. Then in the second part we will analyze the financial environment of the company while at the same time we will present the strategies that will be followed. In conclusion, we will present the conclusions of our business plan while the balance sheets of the Cooperative will be quoted.
